Dr. Sanjiv K S Marya carries with himself around 35 years of Orthopedic experience. He started his academic journey as the Best Graduate of Maharshi Dayanand University and Medical College Rohtak during his MBBS. He then did his MS from PGI, Chandigarh with honors – being declared the Best Post Graduate. Subsequently he took the prestigious M.Ch. degree from University of Liverpool. He has also been awarded the fellowship of International College of Surgeons, USA. He has been awarded FRCS England.

Dr Marya till date has conducted over 12000 Joint Replacements Surgeries. He has a passion for teaching and disseminating the knowledge he has gained over all these years and has been conducting workshops and delivering lectures at various institutes of repute. He has demonstrated live surgeries in nine counties and delivered lectures in 21 nations. He has been invited to deliver 14 Orations by various bodies.

He has authored 8 books on Joint replacement and published over 85 articles in indexed scientific journals. His scientific work has been cited in reputed international books like Campbell’s operative Orthopedics, Rockwood and Green text book on fractures and year book of Orthopedics.

Dr Marya has done immense service to society at large including serving the Indian railways in honorary capacity and conducting free treatment and camps for poor patients at large.

He is the immediate past President of Indian Orthopaedic association and is the past President of Indian Arthroplasty Association, past President of Indian Society of Hip and Knee Surgeons. Dr Marya is the President Elect of arthroplasty Society in Asia. He is also the Chairman Knee Arthroplasty (SICOT), President India and SAARC : International Congress of Joint Reconstruction (ICJR) and a Permanent Board Member Asia Pacific Arthroplasty Society.
